Ex-Bank Of Singapore Manager Takes On UBP North Asia Role

senior figure Jacky Leung as head of investment services for North Asia, effective 2 January 2025.
Based in Hong Kong, Leung will report to Teresa Lee, Hong Kong CEO and North Asia region head. He also has a functional reporting line to Philippe Henry, global head of investment solutions.
Leung will succeed Andy Lee, who has decided to leave UBP to pursue opportunities outside of the bank, according to a memo seen by this news service. Prior to that, he was head of capital markets products and solutions, managing investments at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong. Earlier in his career, Leung worked in structured derivatives advisory at Credit Suisse.
In August, the Geneva-headquartered bank appointed another former Bank of Singapore senior figure, Teresa Lee, as region head for North Asia and chief executive for Hong Kong. She succeeded Ivan Wong, UBP who announced his decision to retire early this May. The Asia CEO is Michael Blake.
In July, the bank reported a strong year-on-year rise in half-year 2024 profits.
